On behalf of all those in our school community, I would like to welcome you to our school.
We are very proud of Egglescliffe CE Primary School, a happy and caring environment where children flourish.
Egglescliffe is a school founded in the Christian Faith, which embodies distinctive values in its daily life by promoting, encouraging and celebrating the abilities of all within the school community.
Our children come from a range of backgrounds, of all faiths and none, and bring with them vitality and an enthusiasm for learning. We very much value the partnership working with our parents and the wider school community. There are regular opportunities for parents and extended family members to join in with workshops, collective worship and school visits, to support the children in their learning.
We also have a thriving Friends of Egglescliffe, parents association, which organises and arranges a fantastic variety of fundraising activities throughout the year. Parents are automatically members of FOE and can become fully involved with the life of our school by joining in with the events. We have a dedicated staff team who regard their role in school as vocational and supportive, together with committed Academy Councillors and strong links with St. John’s Church.
I hope that this website will give you an insight into what life is like in our school and help to make your child’s transition and stay here a smooth and happy one. Registering for our school is very straightforward as we follow Stockton Borough Council’s Admission Policy and are non-selective. Families do not have to share the Christian Faith, nor do children have to pass an entrance test. We look forward to working with you and your child over the coming years.
